Australasian Leisure Magazine: Home of the Matildas

The new Home of the Matildas at the Victorian State Football Centre - La Trobe University includes two HERO Hybrid Grass pitches and was recently featured in the Australasian Leisure Management Magazine.

The state-of-the-art facility will not only serve as the training venue for the CommBank Matildas but will also host Melbourne Victory’s non double header fixtures and the A-League Women’s new training base.

Along with the HERO Hybrid Grass pitches, the Victorian State Football Centre also includes two LigaTurf full-size synthetic grass pitches, a fully equipped gym, medical facilities, wet recovery areas, hospitality spaces and coaching development areas.

The facility will also support community football and the continued development and investment in the women's game off the back of the Women's World Cup.
